I grew up on a dairy farm in Stanley, Wisconsin as part of a large family with 8 siblings. I was about 17 years old when I placed my faith in Jesus Christ. Following high school, I moved to Minnesota to attend St. Paul Bible College (Crown College) where I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry.

While at college, I met and later married my wife, Barb. We have been blessed with 2 daughters, Adriana and Joy.

After college, I began working in the IT field and remained in this field for about 15 years. In 2010, we moved to the Iron Range where I continued working in the IT field. 

​

It was in 2011 that I sensed the Lord directing us toward ministry. In early 2012, with the assistance of North Star Church of Hibbing, MN, we planted North Star Church of Virginia, MN. 

​

After experiencing God's rich blessings at North Star Virginia, I felt the Lord directing me to plant a church on the East Range. In 2021, with the assistance of North Star Virginia, we planted North Hope Church.

It is our desire to share the good news of Jesus Christ with the East Range and to build, equip, and multiply believers, leaders, and churches. To God be the glory!
